I used my markers in two ways...first to color my stamped images and also to color and tint my sparkly vellum to create the ocean on my card. Colors I used on the images are listed below. For the ocean, I took some Opal Rain Translucent vellum from The Paper Studio (because I wanted sparkly bubbles in my ocean) and colored over the entire surface with BT4. Then I soaked a cotton ball pretty well with nail polish remover and pounced it all over the surface of the vellum to remove any streaks and to create a nice texture and movement in the water. I layered two of these colored vellum layers over each other and a pale blue piece of cardstock and gave them all jagged edges to create the illusion of breaking waves at the shore.
I tend not to buy too many stamps with people on them, but I have tons of animal images. So yeah, the crab and the starfish are building the sandcastle...and in my head, I like to think that maybe they do play in the sand together once in a while. (haha) I thought the detail photo might show it better, but the background is a piece of shimmer paper from an 8x8 pad from DCWV...perfect for sand!
