I first inked the stems and leaves up with some Peeled Paint distress ink, colored over different areas of the inked stamp with a deeper green water-based marker, spritzed the stamp a few times with water, and stamped my image. Then I repeated this process with the flower buds stamp using Worn Lipstick distress ink and ruddy red water-based marker. The result is a watercolor-y look that's just a little blotchy, but super quick to do and still pretty in a pinch.
I scored around the edges of my panel twice to create a nice border using my Scor-pal, added a sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and popped the entire panel up on top of a matching white cardbase. Olive baker's twine finished off the one edge.
Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear your comments!
