I've been making my own stencils for a while now, and this stuff is really nice...it's truly reusable because the material is nice and sturdy and the adhesive pulls up without removing finishes (but is still strong enough to stick to the next project).
I sponged Memento Luxe inks onto my pieces using cosmetic sponges, but acrylic paints and embossing pastes work just as well (that's all I've tried so far). The adhesive is a bit too strong to be used on paper straight, so you'll have to dab it off on some clothing or something before placing it down on your project. I've actually sent in a request for them to offer the same material without the adhesive backing for paper projects, but I'm not so sure I have the ability to influence product releases. : )
In the meantime, this will work well for me as long as I remember to remove some of the stickiness. I normally cut overhead projector sheets for my "reusable" stencils, but the intricate ones are really only reusable about 3 or 4 times because they start getting bent pretty quickly. I don't imagine this material would have the same problem as it's much thicker than those sheets.
Unfortunately, I can't review the other newly released materials for you yet...although I can think of a million ways I'd like to use the new washi sheets and corrugated cardboard for home decor, I was only sent stencil material. None of the new products will be available for a few months, so I imagine that's how long I'll have to wait to try out anything else...but I will keep you updated if that changes! ETA: They seem to available right now in the Silhouette America store...I guess I was misinformed!
On a related note, you may have noticed that I've been struggling to post more than once a week lately and I hope you'll forgive me! The new year seems to have brought lots of new opportunities and changes for me, and I'm working on getting back to a somewhat more regular post schedule now. I'm also working on designing some new freebie cut files...it might turn into a bi-monthly type of thing??
Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear your comments about the new products!

These are truly BEAUTIFUL! Very special!
