I was working on one more Christmas card today and decided to keep the design pretty simple to highlight this cute image from Crafter's Companion from their "Home for Christmas" stamp set. The image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers (listed below), inked with Tea Dye distress ink around the edges, and mounted on some patterned paper from Authentique. I also added some gold and white highlights to the door with gel pens.
To make the banner, I used the "Small Banners" stencil from Simon Says Stamp to trace the outline and stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts inside. After cutting the banner out, I inked the edges with Fired Brick Distress ink and popped this up on my Neenah Desert Storm card base.
The embellishment was made by layering three leftover snowflakes punched from glitter cardstock for this card. Finally, I knotted a bit of gold metallic twine at the fold.
Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear your comments!
